Let’s Do This!

white dress / statement earrings

Hi, everyone! My name is Sarah Holt, and I’m so glad you stopped by my blog. This is an endeavor I’ve wanted to embark on for a while, and after receiving encouragement from various places, here we are!

My husband, Daniel, and I have been married for almost five years. He is a full time pastor and a talented musician. I constantly tell him how many wrinkles I’ve gotten, since we got married, but fortunately those fine lines are due to constant smiling, so I “wear” them with pride.

Our son, Isaac, is almost two, which is hard to believe. Our inspiration behind his name comes from the Bible. Isaac was Sarah’s son, so it was fitting for us. He is “all boy” as they say and constantly keeps us on our toes. We wouldn’t have it any other way, though!

I want my blog to be an encouraging and inspiring place for women. That seems to be a notion the world has forgotten and social media hasn’t helped matters. As a Christian and high school English teacher, I believe part of my job is to lift others up. Whether that’s telling my teenage students that they are valued and loved or helping other Christians fight through spiritual warfare, that’s what I want this site to be about.

Finally, I have a passion for fashion and believe it’s important to keep it classy when getting dressed, hence the name of my blog. I want women to know that they don’t have to show skin or keep up with the latest trends to feel beautiful. The Lord made each of us wonderfully unique, and I want to remind women of that. I also hope to offer affordable outfit inspiration and help others be the best versions of themselves, both inside and outside.

Thank you for stopping by my blog. I’m excited to see where this adventure leads!
